Grinding Mills

Ball and SAG mills are essential equipment in the mining industry for ore grinding. A ball mill is a cylindrical device that rotates, containing steel balls which crush and grind the ore into a fine powder. Conversely, a SAG (Semi-Autogenous Grinding) mill is larger and partly filled with a combination of larger rocks and steel balls, effectively using the ore itself as a grinding medium. Both mills use the principle of impact and attrition to reduce the size of the ore, enabling efficient extraction of valuable minerals from the crushed material in mining operations.
